Future Technology - Bionic Hand

1) What kind of technology is being duscussed?
-They talked about bionic hand.
2) What are the benefits of this technology? Who would benefit?
-The bionic hand can be a huge benefit for people which have disabled hands, born with no hands, or lost the use of their hands.
-The bionic hand can rotate its wrist 360 degrees.
-We can control it with our brain and muscles and we can use it like normal hands: pick up a cup, a pen, tie your shoes, etc.
3) Are there any ethical problems with this technology?
-Yes there are. I think if we use the bionic hands too much, maybe the people with normal hands would also cut their hands to replace with a better, stronger hand. It is very ethical for people who cannot use their hands but i don't think people should depend on it too much.
People will depend on technology too much and then we just become a robot. It would be wrong with the nature if we all have a bionic hand. It wouldn't be natural. When we all have bionic hands, we might have low self-esteem and think that we are not as good as the people with bionic hands.

I think future technology won't affect my daily life real much. Maybe in my house there will be some more luxury things or i will come to school faster thanks to a new high-tech car. But it just a small change in my life. There will be a new kind of ipad, new screen touch TV, screen touch computer. It will of course make my life easier and i will use less energy, but it is not a big change. But if there are electric transportation, I would definitely buy it and it would help so much for the society. We will use less fossil fuels and it will be better for the environment. But like the gadgets in the house, i don't think it will affect much to my life.

Cat Tien was a really cool trip. I had learned so much wonderful things about it! I learned so much more about animals, trees, people's life. But one thing i will never forget and never be prouder is that i had walked 17km in 2 days.
WONDERFUL MUCH?! the 2nd day in Cat Tien, we went to see the trees in the forest and we walked 7km. I was really surprise of my strength of walking because usually, i walk very bad and i get tired just after 2km of walking. But that day, i walk 7km and i felt like just walked 1km.
But you can't compare it to the next day. I walked 10km without getting any tired and opposite, i got very excited and happy. I walked pretty fast on that day. Thanks to Mr. Tim. He just kept telling me to walk faster, faster. And i just kept talking to him, and, talking always keep us from being tired!
So i guess walking was the best memory of the whole trip to me then! I had never love walking than at that time! I even woke up at 5h30 to go jogging with Ms. Tami the day i had to walk 10km. I miss it so much! I just wish i can walk like that again!

Explain how you used the principles of design in your digital poster. Use specific "descriptive" words in your explanation.
White Space: The white spaces in my poster are pretty spread out equally. The top, middle and bottom part have kind of equal space. The poster doesn’t look too crowded, but also not too lonely.
Focal Point: My focal point is my title, and I made it right in the middle of the poster. Big and clear! I make my title kind of round to make it more special. Underneath the title, I put a tag line to make it more attractive. Also, I made the “50% of for each rides” very big, clear and in red “bubble” because I want to emphasize to them that the park is in sale and they should come fast.
Fantastic Fonts: For each part I use different kind of fonts. I use many fonts to make the poster more creative, more attractive and it won’t make the readers get bored. For some of them, I used WordArt to create the font because WordArt has many great fonts. Also, the way that the texts are arrangement would have to fit with the kind of font I’m using. I used Bold and Italic to emphasize my point more.
Display Balance: My poster doesn’t guide the readers to read from where to where, but when they look at it, they can figure out themselves that they would read the middle first, because it’s the biggest word, then read the “bubbles” around it. I arrange the picture, bubbles and the texts almost parallel to each other. I didn’t make the poster look too at the right, or too at the left, it looks all in the middle.
Simple is nice: My poster is not very simple, but it doesn’t look messy. I used only one picture in my poster. I used only one kind of bubble to write my information in. But I used a lot of colours, fonts.
Color Correctly: I think my combination of colors is great. My background is very light, so I made all of my words, texts dark and clear. For each information, I used different color to make it more specific and would emphasize itself more, also make it more visualize.

7 THINGS TO PUT ON A LEAFLET TO PUBLICISE VANILLA HILLS

1st) We have to make awesome posters to advertise our awesome Vanilla Hills.
2nd) We have to have lots of games like roller coasters, swings, bumper cars, etc.
3rd) there must be a place to eat, rest, relax, hang out.
4th) It's a park, so of course there must be gorgeous flowers, big trees, lots of green.
5th) We might have water parks for the children to play.
6th) 3D or 4D theater for family to enjoy their movie.
7th) Last but NOT least, of course, the price won't be too expensive. There would be discount for more than 4 people and for V.I.P.

The winter break was 2 weeks long. I went to Cambodia and Long Hai Beach. It was awesome. When I went to Cambodia, I was very surprise by the people, they are just so nice. Everything in Cambodia was so cheap and they always cost us in dollar, which I was very surprise and I didn't know that before. In Angkor Watt, we should buy bananas for the monkeys to eat. There was money that was pregnant, so she couldn’t go out to the crowd to take the food with other monkeys. When I saw her, I could feel my heart tenderness. I felt very sorry for her, so I brought her my bananas. It was really cool to watch her eat the bananas. I met ViVi at the Long Hai beach, and it was WOW! I was very shock when I met her cousin and her. It was a wonderful trip!
